What’s cool about this image that we wanted to point out, WordPress will tell you when you last updated the plugin and if it works with your website. We’ve been waiting to update to show these features. It’s good to know. Some plugins if not updated often will break your website and / or impact other features on your website. This one has a low risk of doing that. It just might stop working altogether if we don’t update it soon.
Once you’ve downloaded the plugin, scroll to the bottom of your post and fill out the areas in red. Pay attention to how many characters you can use in each section.
STEP 4: Optimize ALL Blog Images
If at any point you are using images make sure to add alternative text. This is the number one step people always forget to do. To do this, you just upload the picture and there will be a field that is blank labeled, “Alternative Text” fill it out with a basic description of the image. Keep the description under 5 words.
STEP 5: Publish The Blog
Sit back and hit publish. You are done.
PS. Use this guide to get the most out of your blogs. Follow these rules and you’ll make search engines like Google very happy — ignore them and they will ignore you.
