Who doesn’t like FREE? I sure do. Slap free in front of almost anything and it instantly gives off that “come hither” look. Top Search Engine in the USA is Google. Our society relies on its platform. Google gives away so much FREE stuff it’s hard to know what’s worth it and what’s not. Well…that was until you got here. Today we’re going to talk about Free Google Tools You Never Knew Existed and how they can help your business drive revenue, boost web traffic, the works.
3 Free Google Tools You Never Knew Existed
1. Google Trends
Ever wondered what people across the United States were searching for? What about your specific state? In our day and age, data equals gold. Look up Google Trends here. It’s a FREE tool if you haven’t explored at least once you’re missing out on a ton of gold.
What I recommend doing is placing a long tail keyword in that red search bar I highlighted. See how much traffic that word is getting. You can analyze this traffic over time as well. Maybe the keyword has risen in popularity. Or maybe it has sunken. This free Google feature helps you narrow down what keywords to focus on.
If you’re about to launch a PPC Campaign and only have a budget to go after X amount of keywords. This is a smart move.
2. Full-Screen Capture
My favorite feature about MAC’s is the ability to take screenshots. Our team uses screenshots all the time to show data to clients, create guides, make things stand out. It’s a huge awesome tool. But not everyone has a MAC. On top of that, trying to figure out how to capture the entire page of a website is a bit frustrating.
Or is it. If you have Chrome you can download Full Screen Capture found here. What this tool does is locks onto your web browser and with a single click has the ability to take a full-screen capture of any web page.
Why is this awesome? Well beyond being free think of the possibilities. Imagine how much stronger your presentation could have been if you could just show one single image of a landing page featuring your product(s). It’s a snazzy tool. An upgrade for screenshots a must to take your visuals to the next level.
Having a Gmail account should be mandatory part of life. With Gmail, you get 15 GB’s of memory for free. You can hook up your work email to your personal account and send emails from your personal account as if you are at work. If you don’t have Gmail Drive now is your chance to up your game. Download it here. Now some of you are thinking, “Well I’ve heard about Gmail Drive — this isn’t anything new.” That’s the wrong attitude guys. Did you think I was going to leave you hanging?
Did you know on Gmail you can track who opens your messages? You don’t have to be a control freak to be interested in this feature. Sometimes it’s just helpful to know if someone got your message and opened it. If you’re interested in this dandy tool go here. Get SideKicked.
