Facelift---Girl

Have you ever used a little thing like Google and searched for well…anything…ever? In that search did you come across a website that looks like it was built in the 70’s?   Here’s a better question, did you do that search on a mobile device and thought your phone was going to have a stroke because of how dated the website code was?   It happens. Websites go out of date. Now the question is when do they go out of date? Today we’re going to review some key points to address when looking at your website.

5  Reasons Why Your Website Needs A Facelift

1. It hasn’t been updated in seven years or more.

A great test of a website design being acceptable in today’s market is showing it to a teen. Just ask them to check out a site and give their honest feedback. Pay attention to what they say about emotions and thoughts behind the site.

You’ll want to ask teens because they grew up on the internet. They use computers everyday and have a good sense of what designs feel modern because they are always on modern websites. Think of them as a free consultation. Use them.
